Big O Tires

Big O Tires has twenty-one stores across BC, each with its own website to keep secure, maintained, and ranking. They brought us in to take it off their plate, and now we manage all twenty-one for them.

The challenge

Big O Tires runs twenty-one stores across BC, each with its own website. Keeping all of them secure, updated, and properly optimized for search had grown into more than the marketing manager could stay on top of alongside everything else the role covers. They wanted one team to own the whole web presence: keep every site secure and current, make sure each store shows up when local customers search, and take their head office social media off their plate too.

Our approach

We took over all twenty-one sites and brought them onto one managed system: security and maintenance handled, updates kept current, uptime monitored. We ran technical SEO across every store so they rank for the searches their customers actually use. Then we consolidated and optimized their hosting and maintenance, cutting their ongoing cost by close to 40 percent. We also run head office's social media, the parent Facebook and Instagram accounts, so the brand stays active and consistent without anyone there having to manage it. When anything needs a fix, it's a text away.

The outcome

Twenty-one stores, all secure, maintained, and optimized on one managed system, with social handled under the same roof. Head office makes one call for anything web or social, their costs dropped close to 40 percent, and the websites they used to chase across twenty-one setups now just run.

RVSA

A 30-year control and safety systems engineering firm needed a site that speaks to engineers, not marketers. We designed the brand guide and built a premium custom Next.js site that represents the precision and attention to detail RVSA applies to everything they do.

The challenge

RVSA has spent thirty years engineering control, safety, and process systems for power, oil and gas, and mining across three continents. Their old website did not match the caliber of the work. Their buyers are engineers, and they need to see what's important to them in two seconds, not 5 clicks and forever scrolls. RVSA needed a site as exacting as the projects they deliver.

Our approach

The discovery came first. We sat with the team, mapped what RVSA actually needed, and got clear on what the site had to do before a pixel moved.

They came in with a logo and a distinct brand voice. We built them a complete brand and style guide, the visual system that gives everything they produce a consistent identity going forward.

The site grew from that foundation: a custom designed Next.js build, structured around the way RVSA actually talks about its own work. Full client communication throughout, no surprises on delivery.

The outcome

A lightning fast bespoke site that finally matches the caliber of the engineering behind it. RVSA brought Downtime back for the next chapter: automating how the team implements and uses AI day to day.

Case 03 / 03 SaaS · AI Visibility for Local Businesses · 2025

FoundScore

Most local businesses have no idea if ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI is recommending them. FoundScore gives them their score and the exact steps to fix it, free.

The challenge

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI are replacing Google Search as the way customers find local businesses. Owners have no tool to check whether AI is recommending them, or their competitor down the street. Every lost job goes unexamined. FoundScore closes that gap.

Our approach

Built FoundScore as a free AI visibility scan, open to anyone, no account required. Enter a business name and city, and the scoring engine queries ChatGPT and Google AI in real time, ranks who they recommend, and returns a 0-100 score plus a detailed, prioritised action plan: the specific step-by-step fixes that move the number, ranked by impact. Results in roughly 60 seconds.

The outcome

FoundScore makes AI visibility legible for the first time, and it does not stop at the score. Owners see where they stand, who is beating them, and the exact step-by-step plan to improve. The free scan surfaces the problem and hands over the fixes. Then Downtime can do it for them.
